Love, Loss and Addiction 01/19/16
Today I was reminded of how precious life is, I lost a
second friend in less than year to addiction. It is unfortunate that people don’t
realized how much they /or you are loved. You can have the worst situation at
the moment, but it’s not your whole life. Your life is short here, and we take
for grant that we will have people in our lives tomorrow. But the truth is, they
are not. Life is a blessing in each moment that you breathe, you are created
from love. Even when that love is disguise as pain and suffering. We tend to
think that this is all we have and that nothing ever changes. But that’s a lie,
we came from love and we return to love.
I cannot tell you how or why it is, but there no greater
loss then someone leaving before that time. We all have distance memory of Love
and peace that we remember deep within our soul. This feeling turns and churns
to be fill by us. It is not outside of you, it is you. The only person that can
fill that hole is you. The question then becomes do you love yourself enough, to
love you first. We all like to meet the “One” who completes us. But that person
can’t come, if you’re standing in your own way. See love is receptacle, you
have to be what you want before it can flow to you. This applied down to basic
foundation of soul. You came here to love unconditional and that is the nature
of your existence. It not the partner, it’s not a job, it’s not the money or
all the lesson that life has offered up until this point on your journey.
It is love and it’s not a cliche. It’s larger than life and
you are a part of it, in all it's form. Understandably, we have forgotten that it
us and life matters. And no matter what you’re going through, it about you and the
love that brought you to experience life. There is not anyone one person on this
planet that we not say for a moment, that if they could have 5 minutes with a
loved one that they would accept those minutes without ever questioning another
thought. So for now I leave you will this _ When you’re in your head, or life
is not ideal – Someone Loves you and even in your darkest hour, you are loved
and love. That is what you came here to be, and nothing less. So from my heart
to yours remember the love that you are, because I love you enough to miss you.
In honor of My Friend Catherine Ann Sobotka (Hitchcock)
