Remember 12/22/2014

Every day we get up and go to work almost like robots, repeating
the same patterns every day, in hope that it fills us in some way. We dream of
better, more and time to do what is really calling out your to you. We go from
day to day, month to month, year after year to finally getting to point where
we can finally do what our heart desires. We become robotic in our own lives in
a series of just doing to get by, wondering, waiting, and hoping to just spend
time without ourselves, to feel free from your daily responsibility.
Life has become about consuming, having and succeeding to the
point that it will never be enough, but what is enough. That we are trying to
fill within ourselves with, is it really filling us. We have become so
disconnected from ourselves that we think more will fill us to the point that
this strange calling deep within us will made us feel whole.
We have disconnected from ourselves, we no longer talk to
people, we text, we email, connect via social media to feel connected to
others. We have stopped being. We have stopped caring about people, the world,
and even our own place in the world. Why we have forgotten why we came here.
When we were small child we believed we could be and do
anything. Are minds were open and free to be a firefighter, doctor, and cook or
just about anything, we dreamed up. In fact, we could change day by day, if we
wanted too. Now year after year that calling has been buried under many layers
of life, we have moved into a place that we just see things changing. This is
our life. It can be written on a single piece of paper, our experiences do not
tell our story, we do not share ourselves; nor do want to help others in ways that
fills us to be more then we believe. We do not take time to understand the
whys, the hows of why people feel the way they do or why they do what they do.
We do not understand their choices verses judging and labeling them.
We have forgotten their human too. That life has given
them a different path, had we walked in their shoes we would be no better off, nor
no less different from them. We talk a righteous talk or walk because we
believe they are different then us, “but are we so far off better than they.” Many
people our fortunate in that they had support, guidance and many teachers to
say” Hey, that not the way.” Do we stop questioning our own thoughts to say
their got to be another way.
Most our born and raised to remember simple rules for life,
to be a good person, share and do no harm. Somewhere we have forgotten the rules
and for lifetimes, we still want to see the best in people and be who we came
here to become. We fallen asleep and do not remember why or even how. This is
not who or what we are meant to be. Remember who you really are? Who are you
really?
