01-01-2021 Tips and Trick for the New Year.

Let say you over-spend this Christmas and now need to find ways to pay down the debt.

1.   Firstly, make coffee, breakfast, lunch… etc at home until the debt is paid off.

2.   Cut your grocery bill by going into the cabinet and see what exactly you have on hand to make. Try to cook and eat that you ready have on hand and put the difference towards your debt instead.

3.   Stop ordering so many times food online, or out at fast-food place, or even buying items that possibility you don’t need.

4.   Figure out why your overspending because there is an emotional attachment to why your doing this behavior.

5.   It is not love, if your putting yourself in debt for the sake of another.

6.   Make a budget for anything, the year, a month, really look at where your money is going. Consider saving money thru-out the year, so you’re not overspending at the holidays. $1.00 a day is 365.00 dollars at the end of year. $2.00 day is $730.00, you get the point.

7.   Did make an intention for the New Year –

a.    Lose Weight

b.   Get more exercise

c.    Changing your diet is a lifestyle and not a quick fix.

d.   Let’s be realistic 30 lbs. takes a lot work – You could make a plan by figuring out what type exercise you actually like or want to challenge yourself. Maybe you could write down a list of food you actually like to eat…fruits, veg’s, nuts & seeds, look into other plans and prepping food, looking into vegan food to change up your food.

e.    Know your food triggers – Sugar, Salt, bad carbs like heavy processed food, muffins, breads, dairy. Etc.

f.     Question the food triggers – why am I doing this? Did I learn this or was it taught to me, there is an emotional component that is triggering this behavior. Was I raised to overeat or under eat, Do I need a professional that specialized in food plans, dietitian, psychologist, can I learn about this – yes, You have permission too!

8.   As parents we get so busy taking care of others that we neglect our own needs, do you do selfcare for yourself and what does that even mean? Well, before you were parent or married there was just you and your likes and needs. What are you doing to feed your own happiness? Because if you not taking care of you there is major boundaries issues that need work. There is reason on airplane they let the air mask on you first.

9.   What about physical health – are you doing research to heal yourself in other ways, via alternative health or spiritual illness and trying to mentally heal yourself. Like saying I am healing my body vs I am in pain. There lots people writing books, videos and information on healing the pain without drugs or less drugs, by going back to plant medicine, instead using synthetic medicine. If worry too much- figure out why? Because it is wasting available energy and head space by saying “they can’t take care of themselves”. The only one that has the control is you over you. If you’re afraid, face the fear, we all have them.  If you’re afraid of a spider’s why – did someone tell fear them- study them, look up animal totems of them, try new fruits and vegetable, study something that you want to learn. You were not meant to just get job, married, have kids and retire and die. Expand your mind, create something, because what happens on the outside will continue – peace, happiness and joy are inside job.
