A few years
back I did a lecture in college in front of young adults that were the same age
as my children and tried to explain to them the real estate market and that the
prospects of purchasing a $400k house, would ultimately cost in the millions
and the potential to have the same value in future. As I see these new homes
being built all over the place with No real connection to the planet, other
than a box that you live in and rest your head.
I question
what is the far impact of these homes because they are not aesthetically
pleasing to look at, but rather the long-term demands that it affects, in
traffic, already damaged and broken roads and bridges, schools, and
farmers/farms that these properties once were. To the effect on waterways, and
wildlife both plant and animal. All for keeping up with the Jones, who by the
way don’t exist except in your own head. Oh, here look at my pretty trinket.
To wonder
where are the leaders/mentors, when people are exhausted. We have either too
many chiefs or too many Indians. Are we to stand up and fight or allow things
to unfold, to are all leaders just consumed and driven by money! As I have
spoken to multi-generation veterans who of course know what it means to leave
to say no man/woman behind. Where is the sense of camaraderie of brother or
sisterhood? To us being a bunch of lazy tarts, driven by a desire to fill our
busied egos.
And to
myself, where is my own work headed too? Because your loved ones are fine. They
no longer are affected by this earthly experience; they have a greater
awareness of life and why they have had the life they had. (YouTube NDE's) I
can’t make you intuitive because you already are, it has just been brainwashed
out of you to not trust yourself or your own thoughts from childhood forward. I
call it your (GPS) God in physical, God navigation program system. When you deny that you’re not, you deny who
you really are. You also deny that fact you are more powerful (not over another, but self) or access to
information, if you so, choose to use it.
